Most individual book records in the catalog have a map button to physically locate the book. If a record has a book location map, the link will be displayed on the right-hand side of the record.

The Wayne State Libraries have a paging service called Get It!, which you can use to have books retrieved for you. Watch the video below to learn how to use Get It!

Finding Articles for your Research Assignments

You will need to use specialized resources such as our Discovery Tool, Summon, a library database such as Library Literature & Information Science Full-Text or the Library's link to Google Scholar to locate articles for your research assignments.

A word about e-books

Some licensed e-books require your access id and password to access, even if you are on campus. Use the same access id and password that you use for Blackboard, Academica, etc.
