Start at the Shiffman Medical Library website for your academic, research and clinical information needs. Do NOT use PIPELINE to access library resources, as PIPELINE might disable some features.
PUBMED@WAYNE is your best database to find medical literature. Use "360 Link to Full Text" to obtain full text articles.
When searching WSULS catalog, click "Get It" to request the book(s) to be delivered to the Applebaum LRC for you to pickup.

AccessPharmacy - Users can search over 20 core curriculum textbooks, identify a core topic, or browse site by organ system. Case studies, care plans, self-assessments and NAPLEX review help students develop and track key skills providing critical feedback for students and teachers. Other features include information on clinical relevance and lab tests, comprehensive drug database, news & updates from Pharmacotherapy News Network (PNN) and Goodman & Gilmans Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics.
AccessMedicine - A repository of medical knowledge from internal medicine, cardiology, genetics, pharmacy, diagnosis and management, basic sciences, patient care, and more. Continuously expanding, all databases in the repository contain the latest editions of selected medical titles.
Clinical Pharmacology - Accepted by all 50 state Boards of Pharmacy as a compendium to fulfill the drug reference requirements for licensed pharmacies, and is officially recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as a drug compendium for determining the appropriate use of drugs and biologics for cancer patients. Considered to be the Gold Standard; the subscription is offered by the hospital.
Micromedex - The wide range of evidence based information you expect from Micromedex is part of Thomson Healthcare Evidence. This includes all the unbiased, referenced information about drugs, toxicology, diseases, acute care, and alternative. Access restricted to Mazurek Education Commons Shiffman Medical Library, Nursing, and Applebaum buildings only.
PubMed@Wayne - PubMed is a project developed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the National Library of Medicine (NLM), located at the National Institutes of Health (NIH)--Overview. NLM's search service to access the 9 million citations in MEDLINE and Pre-MEDLINE (with links to participating on-line journals), and other related databases
