Welcome to the Wayne State University Libraries!

Welcome!

This guide will help you learn about the libraries and the many services and resources that we have for you. Use this guide to start your research for any of your classes!

Use the table of contents on the left to learn more about finding information sources, conducting library research and citing your sources.

When you need help, we are available through our 24x7 Chat! You can also reach us by email, phone or make an appointment.

Subject Specialist Librarians

There are many ways you can reach a librarian for assistance with accessing resources, beginning your research, citing sources, formatting papers and more. Use Help to chat 24x7, email, or visit a reference desk in any of the libraries. If you have a complex research paper or project, you might want to make an appointment with the Subject Specialist librarian for individual assistance. The following video introduces you to the WSU Subject Specialist librarians.
