The USPTO administers a network of public, state and academic libraries designated as Patent and Trademark Resource Centers to disseminate patent and trademark information, and to support the intellectual property needs of the public.
Patent and Trademark Resource Center at the Detroit Public Library
The Detroit Public Library is one of four Michigan libraries designated as Patent & Trademark Resource Centers. Instruction on patent searching and information on the patent application process is available through the DPL Business, Science & Technology Department, (313) 481-1391.
