Chapter 2 in this textbook provides a helpful overview of the Exposure, Disease, Population research question format!

Examples of exposures include: income, occupation, gender, race and ethnicity, sexual practices, nutritional status, stress, environmental exposures like pollution, drinking water, and more

Diseases include: STIs, asthma, cancers, diabetes, mental health diagnoses, injuries, and more.

Populations include examples like: Australian children younger than 5, women living in rural Ontario, adults with diabetes, etc.
