Specialization in Canadian Studies is offered only as a minor concentration at Wayne State University. The program is interdisciplinary and is intended to offer students an opportunity to focus on linkages that exist between the United States and Canada. Included in the courses comprising the minor are offerings in both the social sciences and the humanities, including disciplines such as geography, political science, English, and history.
Welcome!
Welcome to the guide for Canadian Studies!
I hope that you will find this guide a useful starting place for your research in Canadian Studies. I have assembled a core collection of resources available through the Wayne State University Library System, as well as high quality, freely available web resources. This guide is a collaborative work-in-progress, developed with the suggestions and feedback from students and faculty with an interest in Canadian Studies.
Feel free to contact me by email or by telephone if you have a question about library services or you need some help finding resources. I am also available by appointment to assist students and faculty with research related to History.
Faculty are welcome to contact me to schedule research workshops for classes or to suggest items for purchase.
