Many universities have a subscription to a separate Hoover’s database but the Hoover’s Company Records information is available to Wayne State students and faculty through 2 databases—NexisUni and ProQuest Central.  Because the Hoover’s information is actually built into these databases and combined with information from other sources, going directly to the databases and trying to limit to this information is quite difficult. The best way to access just the Hoover's information is to start on the Libraries’ homepage and type Hoover’s Company Records in the QuickSearch box and hit Enter. Then look in the Books and Media box of results and you will see 3 items:

Hoover’s Company Records — Basic Records [electronic resource]
Hoover’s Company Records — In-depth Records [electronic resource]

Hoover’s Company Records [electronic resource]

Clicking on any of these will take you first to the Libraries’ catalog record for the resources and then following the link shown as Click on the following: will take you to the specific area of those databases devoted to Hoover’s.  The first two listed above will lead you to the information in the  NexisUni database while the third one links to the info in the ProQuest Central database.
