Searching for Standards
- TechstreetTechstreet is a commercial source for industry, government, and military standards from Clarivate. The Techstreet site allows user to search for standards by keyword, standard number, or to browse for standards by publisher/SDO.
- IHS/Global Standards StoreIHS is a commercial source for technical industry, government, and military standards. The IHS site allows user to search for standards by keyword, standard number, or to browse for standards by publisher/SDO. Standards can be ordered in hardcopy or PDF formats.

Using the Standards Guide
If you are looking for a standard published by a specific standards developing organization (SDO), go directly to the tab for that organization, where you will find links and instructions for locating and acquiring their standards.
Currently, the WSU Libraries has subscription access to standards from:
- ASTM
- IEEE
- SAE
Standards from other SDOs must be requested via Interlibrary Loan or purchased out-of-pocket.
If the standard you seek is published by an SDO not listed in the navigation tabs (or you are unsure which organization is responsible), the Other Standards & Tools tab contains links to several global search engines which may help locate the standard.
