Law Library Services For Alumni
There are a variety of resources that are available to you in the Law Library as Wayne Law Alumni. If you join the Alumni Association (http://www.alumni.wayne.edu/), your Alumni card entitles you to borrow books from the Law Library for a 28 day loan period.
You may also access Public Access Westlaw (includes KeyCite) and Lexis Academic (includes Shepards) on site using our public access terminals. See the attached services for Alumni document for more information.

Service End Dates
Library services end dates for graduating law students will be posted here.
- Library AccountsLibrary accounts generally expire near the beginning of the fall semester following graduation. Once your library account expires you will no longer have the ability to check out books or request items via Interlibrary Loan.
- Book Return DateTo be announced.
- Study RoomsGraduating law students may use Law Library Study Rooms to study for the bar. Access to Study Rooms for students taking the summer bar exam ends after the bar exam. Students taking the February bar should contact the circulation desk at 313-577-6181 to arrange for study room access.

Other Database Access
- CasemakerThe State Bar of Michigan has partnered with Casemaker to provide members access to legal opinions and other legal information resources. The database is available free to law students. Sign up while you are still in law school. If you are practicing outside of Michigan check your state bar for information about similar partnerships.
- Remote Library Subscription Database AccessAlumni may access library subscription databases, including Public Access Westlaw and Westlaw Academic, at the public access terminals near the reference desk.
