PowerPoint Online

PowerPoint has a free online version you can use to create your presentation. Download the app from the App Store or iTunes.

  • You may already know how to use Powerpoint
  • You will need to create an account.

Prezi

Cloud based presentation app that uses zooming and panning to move through the presentation.

  • It is free for limited public accounts
  • It can be hard to use. View their tutorials in their Learn & Support section
  • Templates are available to help you get started quickly
  • Easy to add YouTube videos, images, music

PowToon

Cloud based presentation platform that uses animations on slides.

  • Lots of free graphics and animations
  • Works better for presentation videos
  • Watch the videos on the PowToon QuickStart Guide

You have a limit of up to 5 minutes

Presentations created with free account are public

Presentations created with free account have the PowToon watermark


Google Slides

Google Slides is Google’s free cloud based presentation app.

  • It is free
  • It is similar to PowerPoint. You will find it easy to use if you have PowerPoint experience
  • Easy to add YouTube videos and images from Google Search

You need to have (or create) a Google Account to use Google Slides

You must have an internet connection to use Google Slides.
