I Need to Use the Library! What's Available? How Can I Use It?

 

What libraries are open and what are their hours?

You can find library hours on the top banner on the library homepage https://library.wayne.edu/

  • All libraries are open to WSU campus and community as of August 23, 2021 (with the exception of Shiffman Medical Library)
  • Shiffman Medical Library is closed until further notice due to water damage

 

How do I enter and use the library?

  • If you are coming to the libraries to study, use a computer, or pick up materials please fill out the Campus Daily Screener before entry.
  • Be prepared to show proof of your completed Daily Screener QR Code for that day.
  • In accordance with campus-wide guidelines, masks are required indoors for everyone, regardless of vaccination status, as of August 3, 2021.
  • Cleaning supplies are available on carts throughout the library to clean your space before and after use.

 

What can I access at the library?

  • Pick up books you have requested from the library, Interlibrary Loan and Mel.
  • Desktop computers, with or without a webcam
  • Study spaces with or without power outlets
  • Printing
  • OneCard Machine
  • Check out a battery to charge your personal device in the library
  • Visit the TechBunker (during open hours) https://guides.lib.wayne.edu/tech-bunker
