Instruction and Research Support Guidelines:

The Shiffman Medical Library provides orientation, instruction, and research support to faculty, staff, and students in the School of Medicine and College of Pharmacy as well as residents and fellows in the School of Medicine Office of Graduate Medical Education. Librarians provide support related to the following topics:

• Literature searching
• Systematic reviews
• Evidence-based medicine
• Research data management
• Scholarly publishing
• Assessing research impact

Requests for support related to other topics will be considered based on librarians’ expertise and availability on a case-by-case basis.
