The Writing Center
Located on the 2nd floor of the UGL, the Writing Center offers support for writing in many different ways, including generating ideas, revision, resumes, personal statement, etc. They offer face-to-face tutoring, in-class, workshops, online, and virtual meetings.

- Persuasive Essay Online Thesis Builder and OutlinerThis app can help you create a thesis statement for your topic, and create an outline to guide your writing and research.
- GrammarlyGrammarly is a free writing assistant you can add to your Chrome browser. It spots spelling and grammar errors in your writing. It's great for online writing, like emails and discussion board posts.
- Learning Express Library: Writing HelpLearning Express Library is a licensed resource available through WSU. You have to be a student or state of Michigan resident to use it. Click on College Students to get to the Grammar and Writing Skills Review.

Student Plagiarism Check
Use the link below to enroll in the Student Plagiarism Check Canvas site and check a draft of your paper using UniCheck.
The purpose of the site is to allow you to check your papers via Unicheck for plagiarism before you submit your paper in your class. You'll also find resources there for you to understand what plagiarism is, how to submit a paper to Unicheck and how to read the results, and finally, how and where to get writing help if you need any.
