Most of the dissertations and theses from Wayne State University have been catalogued in the Wayne State University Library Catalog. You can conduct a search in the catalog for a copy of a dissertation or thesis in either Print, Microform or Electronic format. Search  by the title/author/keyword in the WSU Library Catalog box below. Microforms can be requested at the reference desk in the Purdy/Kresge library and can only be viewed within the library building.

If the item location is listed in Storage, you can fill out a 'Storage Request form' found at the right-hand side of the item record.

If the dissertation/thesis you're looking for cannot be found using the previous methods, you can try contacting your department directly.  Some departments on campus have kept print/digital copies of their previous students' work.  Here is the full listing of the graduate/post-graduate programs on campus with links to the program's corresponding website. There you can find the contact information to reach the program in question.

WSU Electronic Dissertations and Theses AFTER 2010

DC@WSU contains dissertations and theses from most disciplines across campus, dating back to 2010.  You can search and browse dissertations and theses in DC@WSU in the following ways:

Browse Chronologically, either by Theses or Dissertations

Browse by Research Unit, Center, or Department (referred to as "communities" in DC@WSU)

1. Select your desired unit (or expand menu with "+" button next to unit)
2. Choose either "[unit] Theses" or "[unit] Dissertations"
3. Browse or use search field in the upper-left

DigitalCommons@WayneState (DC@WSU) is Wayne State's open access, institutional repository for making Wayne State affiliated scholarship and publications accessible. DigitalCommons@WayneState is managed by the library system.

Its purpose is to:

1. Provide a method of open access publication for Wayne State University faculty, staff, and graduate students and
2. Collect, organize and provide perpetual access to the intellectual output of WSU as broadly as possible.
