Online Audio Music Library

Please note: A maximum of 10 users can access Naxos at one time. If you are prompted for a user name, the maximum number of users has been reached and you will need to try to access Naxos again later.

Audio Resources in the Undergraduate Library

Music CDs and LPs (Phonodisks) are located in the Undergraduate Library.
The CDs are located behind the Checkout Desk, and LPs are located in Storage in the basement of the library. 


Circulation staff can retrieve CD items for you. Simply give them the CDR number, after finding it in the Library Catalog.

For LPs, you will need to use the "Get It!" request button in the Library Catalog.
LP numbers use a 33/2 number. Once they are retrieved you can pick them up at the Checkout Desk.

Below you can search for CDs and LPs using keywords, example 'Mozart'.

Video Resources in the Undergraduate Library

Music videos, or videos about Music, are located in the Undergraduate Library.
You can browse the VHS video collection on the 2nd floor.
DVDs are located behind the 1st floor Checkout Desk. For DVDs, you will need to retrieve the Call Number from the Library Catalog, and present it to Checkout Desk staff for retrieval. 

There are also a number of Streaming Videos that may be of interest, in our
Dance in Video database.

In the box below, you can Search for VHS or DVD, or Streaming videos, using keywords, example 'Mozart'.

Audio and Video Resources in Old Main

You can visit the Computer/Listening Lab, located in 2220 Old Main, to see and hear the Music Department's collection of reference recordings, and to use workstations, or a printer..
You can also access the Naxos Music Library from computers there.
