Call Numbers for Math Books
The WSU Libraries uses the Library of Congress system to organize its books; the majority of math titles have call numbers that begin with the letters QA:
- QA 1 to 145: General topics, elementary math/arithmetic
- QA 150 to 272.5: Algebra
- QA 273 to 299.4: Probability, Mathematical Statistics, Numerical Analysis
- QA 299.6 to 433: Analysis
- QA 440 to 699: Geometry, Topology (as well as Trigonometry)
