Librarians at the Arthur Neef Law Library are eager to provide training, classes, workshops and guides to assist students and faculty in navigating the legal research process. These include:
Faculty, staff and students can request a “Brown Bag” session for a group to learn about using specific legal resources or how to investigate topics for a research paper.
Librarians can create handouts for faculty with information on specific electronic and print resources to support course content and create related topical guides on legal research for the class.
Reference librarians are available to speak to classes about legal research and demonstrate relevant databases & resources.
Librarians can give tours of the Law Library and speak to classes or community groups about the legal research process.
Reference librarians can provide customized legal research training and answer student questions about legal research resources and processes.
We invite students, faculty and staff to schedule an appointment with a reference librarian for individualized assistance in developing strategies for academic, scholarly or practice-oriented research projects.
Wayne Law Faculty may wish to contact their liaison librarians for any of these services.
Other Wayne State University Affiliates or Detroit-area Community Members are invited to contact Michelle LaLonde at mlalonde@wayne.edu or 313-577-9381 to arrange for an instructional session, library tour or research consultation.
