Opposing Viewpoints in Context
- Opposing Viewpoints in ContextThis is a library database where you can search by topic and find an overview, articles from newspapers, magazines and academic publications (journals), pro/con essays written by experts in the field, images, statistics and websites.
To search, type your topic in the search box, or select the BROWSE ISSUES link at the top to look at a particular issue.

Britannica High School
- Britannica High SchoolThis is a special library database which lets you search the entire Britannica Encyclopedia for topics and biographies, and also the New York Times for daily news, browse a world atlas and science videos.
Use the STUDENTS link at the top for tools that can help you organize your research paper or project.
eBooks
- eBooksThis database from MeL has over 26,000 ebooks you can read online. You usually need to be connected to the internet to read the whole book.
Your Library
Don't forget that your local public library has lots of online resources you can use. Make sure you get a library card and it is up-to-date.
