Streaming Videos - Search the Library Catalog or the Sites Below for Additional Selections
Videos to which the Library has already arranged access are included in the Library's Catalog at https://elibrary.wayne.edu/search/ The websites below can also be used to search for additional films you might wish to use in courses. Videos can be requested through the library's Streaming Media (Video and Audio) Request Form. If possible, include the URL for the film you'd like in the Call Number field. When Wayne State University Libraries has acquired licensed access, the video will be accessible through the library's catalog. The Permalink at the bottom of the cataloging record can be given directly to students, and/or embedded in Canvas or other course sites.

Kanopy works directly with filmmakers and film distribution companies to offer award-winning collections including titles from PBS, BBC, Criterion Collection, Media Education Foundation and more.

- Films Media Group- high-quality video on academic, vocational, and life-skills topics.
- Film Platform: WSU Licensed FilmsWSU has a limited number of documentary films available through Film Platform.
- Lumiere (University of California- Berkeley)Registration and login required to access this library of foreign language film clips for classroom use.
- New Day Films- a filmmaker-run distribution company, providing social issue documentaries to educators since 1971.
- Theatre in VideoDefinitive performances, by leading actors and directors. include more than 400 of the world's most important plays, together with more than 100 video documentaries, online in streaming video.
