Apps to Find Full-Text

Because of paywalls, you may not be able to access the full text of an article you find. Here are some apps to use to see if you can find the article online in an institutional repository or other publicly accessible space.

Research Guides in Canvas

Canvas logo

Your Canvas course site has a curated library research guide accesible through the Library Resources link in your Canvas course navigation menu.

You can also direct students to the Research Guides page for help with disciplinary research, citation styles, and more. If you would like a custom guide created for your course or to support an assignment, please contact your Subject Specialist Librarian or Veronica Bielat, Student Success Librarian

Permalink Request Form

Need help transitioning from print to online course readings? Please use our Permalink Request form to request permalinks to your course readings. All you need to do is drop in your course reading list, we'll do the rest.

Streaming Media Options

We have a variety of streaming media options to supplement your existing course materials. If you have a request for a title that is not in our collections, please use our Streaming Media (Video and Audio) Request Form.

Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery are ways to request articles and book chapters that are not available online for electronic delivery. This is a free service to WSU faculty, students and staff.

Please be aware this service may be impacted by lending partner service reductions. We will update this site with any resulting service impacts.

This video shows how to make an Interlibrary Loan request through a database.
