Print, Scan, & Copy Services at the Libraries

All open libraries offer print, scan, and copy services. Printing cost is 11 cents per page for black & white; 32 cents per page for color.

If you send your job to the printer from home using the Pharos Print app or if you email your print job as an attachment to print@wayne.edu from your WSU email address, you can release your print job from our library printers. (You must use your WSU email address)

You will need to have money on your OneCard to print at the libraries. You can put money on your OneCard at a OneCard machine or online through Academica.

Webcams, Respondus LockDown Browser, & Zoom

Computers on the first floor of the UGL have webcams, Respondus Lockdown Browser, and Zoom.

Canvas has a "STUDENTS: Introduction to Canvas" training course that will allow you to take a practice quiz with Respondus prior to any tests or quizzes in your classes.

C&IT Free Laptop Lockers

Computing & Information Technology (C&IT) has installed laptop lockers that charge and dispense free rentable laptop computers across main campus. There is one located on the first floor of the Undergraduate Library to the left of the main entrance [pictured above].

The laptops will prompt students and staff to login to their Wayne State OneDrive (accessID and password) and will give access to Microsoft Office, Zoom, Teams, Canvas, Lockdown Browser and the VMware Horizon Client for accessing virtual labs. Laptops restart when they are plugged back into the lockers and all personal data is removed before the next user accesses it.

Laptops check out for five hours at a time.
