This blog during F2021 is a collaboration between myself and Brian Will to make library resources, tools, and research techniques more accessible to students of history. We're hoping to use this space to share:

  • regular updates about new library ebooks, primary source collections, and upcoming workshops
  • more in-depth reviews and and tutorials on how to use the many databases that contain history content
  • search tips and techniques for finding and using archival collections
  • research techniques and strategies to explore your topic to the fullest
  • websites and scholarly projects freely available on the internet
  • information about scholarly publishing, including open access, open educational materials, and preparing manuscripts for publication
  • digital humanities and digital history projects of interest
  • digital humanities and digital history tools, techniques, and resources
  • other things we encounter in our work that we think historians might think are cool
